"My piece depicts a female figure dissolving into the abstract colours of the background. This is representative of my personal message to women: to become what you love.  I believe that if you truly dedicate yourself to your art and creativity, regardless of gender, sexuality or race, your passion will shine through and you will be successful.

The face is somber because this is no easy task. To do well, women have to be particularly strong and determined due to the overwhelming social inequality still present within the world. It can be both disheartening and discriminatory but artists should do what they love regardless"
